Welcome to MY MYO SPA- a virtual or in person space where I pledge to provide all clients with the most effective myofunctional therapy available.  I am Toni Alamilla, founder and owner.  I am a RDH specialiizing in airway health and orofacial myofunctional therapy. MY MYO SPA was born after years of working as a RDH specializing in airway health. I became intrigued with the correlation between sleep apnea and other systemic health issues.
After many many courses focused on SDB (sleep disordered breathing) and looking for remedies to help with the symptoms I was experiencing, I stumbled across myofunctional therapy and it has changed my life.  Myofunctional therapy has improved my overall health by lowering my blood pressure, increasing my nitric oxide levels, and has brought awareness  to my tongue's posture.  By allowing my tongue to rest in an upright position, I have also lessen the frequency, intensity, and pitch of my  snoring,  decrease clenching and symptoms related to GERD.  My swallowing pattern has improved dramatically and I have eliminated compensatory chewing habits.  The quality of my sleep has been a game changer
